Moxi Theater FAQ (Updated)

What is the age requirement for attending shows at the Moxi?
The Moxi is an all-ages concert venue. A valid government-issued photo ID is required for entry. Minors without an ID must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult over 21. Adults without a state-issued ID will not be allowed to enter. Lap children under 3 years old do not require a ticket, but all other attendees must have a ticket.

Is it safe for my child to attend a show at the Moxi?
The Moxi is staffed with security personnel and has experience operating as an all-ages venue. Children and minors must be supervised at all times. If minors are found unsupervised, both the minors and their parents may be asked to leave the venue. The decision to allow your child to attend a show is ultimately yours. We encourage you to attend a show with your child to become familiar with the venue and its operations.

Do I need an ID to enter the Moxi?

Is re-entry allowed at the Moxi?
Re-entry is permitted for patrons aged 21 and over. Re-entry is not allowed for patrons under 21. If you are under 21 and leave the venue, you will not be allowed back in.

Is the Moxi handicap accessible?
Yes, the Moxi Theater is handicap accessible. Inform a staff member at the top of the stairs upon arrival, or email moxitheater@gmail.com in advance for assistance. An elevator is located just east of the front door.

Where is the Moxi Theater located?
The Moxi Theater is at 802 9th St in downtown Greeley, on the 9th Street Plaza, at the corner of 8th Ave and 9th St. It is upstairs, above the DDA Offices, Gentry Coin Shop, Keynote Coffee, and Batter Up Cakes.

Where can I purchase tickets?
Tickets for all Moxi Theater shows are available online at www.ticketweb.com via www.moxitheater.com, at the Moxi Theater during business hours, and for select shows at Mellow Yellow in Greeley (837 16th St, Greeley, CO 80631).

Can I bring my camera?
Phone cameras are typically allowed, but SLR, detachable lens, or professional cameras require prior approval. No video recording devices are permitted without permission from the venue and band. For inquiries, email moxitheater@gmail.com.

Is seating available at the Moxi?
Shows generally offer standing room only, with reserved tables available for select shows. To guarantee a seat, purchase a reserved table ticket online. Seating is limited and first come, first served.

How can my band get booked at the Moxi?
Send booking inquiries to booking@moxitheater.com with as much information as possible. Do not send physical materials to the venue.

Does the Moxi have a dress code?
No shirt, no shoes, no service.

Is there a coat check?
No.

Can I smoke or use electronic smoking devices inside the Moxi?
No. Colorado has an indoor smoking ban. Patrons aged 21 and over may smoke outside and re-enter the venue.

What time do doors and the box office open?
The listed time for each show is the door time, and the box office opens when the doors open. Door and show times

Where is the best place to park?
Parking is available at the Ice Haus, (located on the east side of 8th Ave), in the lot behind the Moxi, or on 9th St Plaza. Click Here for a crude map.

How do I get a job at the Moxi?

Can you suggest a hotel?
A: We stronly recommend staying at the Doubletree in Downtown Greeley. It one of the only hotels within walking distance of the Moxi. They are located at:

Does the Moxi have an e-mail list? How can I be included?
A: Yes. We send out weekly e-mail updates that include information on just- announced shows, yet-to-be-advertised shows, exclusive pre-sales, and warnings when certain shows are about to sell out. If you wish to be included please sign up by opting-in when buying a ticket in our online box office

When do you announce new shows?
A: Everyday. Please visit www.moxitheater.com for upcoming events. You can also like us on Facebook and subscribe to our events to stay connected.

What is your refund policy?
A: All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges unless a show is cancelled.

What happens if my event is cancelled or postponed?
A: If your event is cancelled, please return to the point of purchase for refunds. If you purchased tickets online, your credit card will be automatically refunded within one to two weeks of the cancellation. If your event is postponed, your tickets will be honored on the rescheduled date.

Do you have any food?
The Moxi Theater has a full bar. We have a full kitchen serving burgers and sandwiches now open in the basement of the Moxi inside of Stella’s Pinball Arcade & Lounge. The kitchen is open before and after the show until 1am on the weekends.

Private parties and special events may bring in outside catering. The Moxi Theater is proudly partnered with Luna’s Tacos & Tequila in Downtown Greeley. Luna’s is located at 806 9th St. – next door to the Moxi and is open for Dinner, Happy Hour, and Late Night. Luna’s is the perfect place to eat and drink before or after the show!
