About This Event

Carsie Blanton is a songwriter with hooks, humor, chutzpah, and revolutionary optimism. Inspired by artists including Nina Simone and John Prine, her catalog is a jaunt through American popular song, from sultry jazz to pop-punk protest anthems.

Her live shows seek to delight and galvanize, with juicy three-part harmonies and melodic basslines driving home each well-crafted refrain. A seasoned performer, she can wax political and land a few blue jokes while still charming every member of her audience.

Artists

Carsie Blanton
Carsie Blanton writes anthems for a world worth saving. Inspired by artists including Nina Simone and John Prine, Carsie delivers every song with an equal dose of moxie and mischief, bringing her audience together in joyful celebration of everything worth fighting for.
Edie Carey
Colorado-based singer-songwriter Edie Carey is known for her unmistakable, soulful voice, her intelligent, heart-grabbing songs, but perhaps most especially for her warm, engaging presence on – and off – stage. As much a part of her show as the music itself, Carey’s wry and often self-mocking humor makes audiences feel as though they have just spent an evening with a very close friend. “Bare of self-pity and full of down-to-earth revelation... a little country, a little adult-contemporary, and a lot of fine music.” - Harp Magazine
